Team Welles was founded in 2010 by American international show jumping athlete, Andrew Welles. Team Welles offers top-notch training for show jumping athletes and horses through the highest levels. Welles, alongside his wife and fellow professional show jumper, Alexandra, focuses on producing top results both inside and outside of the ring for all of their students and horses. Team Welles is proud to offer a brand new state-of-the-art facility in Wellington, Florida.
“As a training team, we specialize in helping younger riders move up to the U25 and Grand Prix divisions. From my own experience ascending in this sport, it is very beneficial to be a part of a team that is jumping at a high level. As a rider, I look to maximize the potential in each horse. The end goal for a horse may differ from representing our country in a championship and campaigning the richest grand prix class to developing the horse to its highest value. As a team, we strive to work backwards from these goals to craft a training program that improves the horses weaknesses and peaks their performance at the right moments.”
